This report examines the implementation of Child Labour Free Zones (CLFZ) in seven countries, including Ghana. Of the 37 areas examined, 22 areas made sufficient progress in implementing CLFZs. They removed children from child labour and increased their school attendance. They also shifted community perspectives on the importance of education. The report concludes with multiple recommendations including recognizing that CLFZs are to be strived for rather than practically attained.
