Written by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, this report assesses malnutrition and its underlying causes among cocoa farming families in Ghana. According to the report, children under 5 and women in cocoa growing communities experience high rates of anemia which is an indicator of malnutrition. Stunting rates in Ghana's cocoa producing regions are similar to the national average.
