ICI partner and board member Barry Callebaut recently published its third progress report on its Forever Chocolate plan. The report lays out the results that have led the company to source 51% of its cocoa beans from sustainable programmes.

Forever Chocolate is based on four targets, to be achieved by 2025, that address the largest sustainability challenges in the chocolate supply chain.

  • Lift more than 500,000 cocoa farmers out
  • Eradicate child labour
  • Become carbon and forest positive
  • Have 100% sustainable ingredients in all its products
