Twinings Ovo, the makers of Ovaltine, joined the International Cocoa Initiative in 2013. Twinings is working to ensure that their goods and ingredients are produced sustainably and to improve the conditions for workers within their supply chain. Twinings has hundreds of suppliers in more than 50 countries and aim to ensure that people within their supply chain have decent working conditions. Their own Code of Conduct is based on the main conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the Base Code of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI). It contains, among others, the principle of no child labour.
