    From the World Cocoa Conference in Amsterdam, 9 — 13 June, to Chocovision 2014 in Davos, Switzerland, 17 — 18 June, ICI was part of the debate that will shape the future of chocolate.   • Global plan to improve the lives of cocoa farmers announced
    23 May 2014
    Twelve of the world's biggest chocolate and cocoa companies launched CocoaAction, a plan to rejuvenate the cocoa sector and accelerate its sustainability. The launch was accompanied by the signing of two consecutive agreements with the governments of Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana to ensure that 300,000 cocoa farmers (200,000 in Côte d’Ivoire and 100,000 in Ghana), and their communities, benefit from productivity enhancements and community development support over the next 6 years.
