This qualitative study, commissioned by ICI and conducted by Ipsos Limited-Ghana, evaluates the implementation and impact of community-based grievance mechanisms set up by ICI in 89 cocoa-growing communities in Ghana.

In this Call to Action, the Cocoa Coalition identifies several key priorities for developing a sustainable cocoa sector.

This online course gives an overview on the complexity of forced labour in the cocoa industry . It will provide foundational knowledge to increase understanding , exploring what is forced labour , modern slavery and human trafficking and what forms it may take in the cocoa sector. The eLearning course will also look at the risk factors and consequences of forced labour in the context of Ghana . It introduces the legal framework on forced labour and different ways to prevent and tackle it, to encourage learners to take action and to continue their learning journey after the course.

This briefing outlines how the African Regional Standard on Sustainable Cocoa's requirements concerning child labour and forced labour align with the EU Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. It provides an overview of practical actions companies can implement to assist cooperatives in meeting the ARS 1000-1 requirements.
