Tulane carried out the first set of nationally representative surveys of child labour in the cocoa sector in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana. In addition, a range of smaller studies was also implemented. This included a pilot study of child trafficking from Burkina Faso and Mali for work in the cocoa-growing areas.
