Benedict is based in Goaso, within the Ahafo Region of Ghana, overseeing development interventions across four districts: Asunafo North, Asunafo South, Ahafo Ano North, and Ahafo Ano Southeast.
At ICI, he leads the implementation of Tony’s Open Chain CLMRS, supervising data collection to identify and track cases of child and forced labour, and linking vulnerable families to education, livelihoods, and social protection services. He trains and mentors field teams on data quality standards and case management. Additionally, Benedict contributes to the Landscape and Referral Project, leading stakeholder engagement to align child protection and labour interventions in Asunafo North. He also coaches Community Child and Labour Protection Committees to ensure labour rights are upheld within forced labour pilot communities.
Before joining ICI, Benedict worked with Global Responses Initiative (GLORI), a local NGO. He brings extensive experience in child protection, water and sanitation, and livelihood empowerment, reflecting a strong track record in community development and project management.
