The Protective School Environment Assessment is a simple tool to assess three dimensions of a quality learning environment: safety, stability, and nurturance. It is a proxy measure, which captures aspects related to the physical and relational environment at school. The WHO-5 Child Wellbeing Index is a simple tool for measuring children's psychological well being. It consists of five positively worded questions that can be administered in less than five minutes.
