Cargill, an ICI partner and board member, has launched a new tool, CocoaWise, that aims to increase transparency and accountability in its cocoa supply chain. CocoaWise is a digital platform that provides information on the origins of Cargill’s cocoa, including sustainability measures that are in place to address farmer welfare and monitor child labour.
ICI, in its drive to scale up sustainability within the cocoa supply chain, supports innovative solutions such as CocoaWise that strive to provide greater oversight over ongoing activities.
