This study aims to identify the explanatory factors of child labour for a better understanding of the phenomenon of child labour. The study found that monetary poverty, the education level of the household head and the permanent employment of the household head all influence child labour. The results of this study also confirm that households are more likely to send boys and older children to work in the labour market.
