Using the Sustainable Livelihood Framework Approach, this article examines the perceived impact of Ghana's 2003 Cocoa Technology Programme on cocoa farmers' livelihoods. The findings suggest that the programme increased farmers' yields with fertilizer application; harvesting, fermenting and drying technologies; and fungicide application having the greatest impact on farmer livelihoods.
