The mandate of Ghana’s Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations is to regulate on policies related to labour and employment issues, promote labour relations, workplace safety, monitor and evaluate policies, and more. ICI works closely with the Ministry on several projects related to child labour and forced labour. Much of ICI’s work in collaboration with the Ministry is conducted with the Child Labour Unit.
