Mil Niepold

Mil Niepold is an independent, mediation and human rights expert, specialised in convening multi-stakeholder dialogues around complex social issues. A major focus of her work has been bringing diverse stakeholders including governments, trade unions, civil society organisations and academics together to address critical human development challenges inherent to raw materials supply chains – with a particular emphasis on the role women play. Mil worked for four years with a wide array of stakeholders to help eliminate the Worst Forms of Child Labour in the cocoa sector in West Africa. She is a Board Member of ICI since 2014 where she utilises her extensive negotiating experience to help us advance in our mission to promote child protection in cocoa.
