ICI's approach is designed to stimulate and increase local, national, regional and, in the long term, global partnerships to end abusive labour practices across the cocoa sector.  Working with competent and committed institutions and local organisations, we work to create new partnerships and programmes where necessary and support those that already exist.

One of our primary tasks is sharing knowledge and experience of successes and lessons learned with a broad cross-section of interested parties. We also work to develop capacity building programmes through joint planning and on the ground action.  ICI has in place programmes with local government departments, local industry representatives and the media to support a broad-based mass education programme.
